Park once on arrival, take the elevator to floor 3, and your mountain getaway begins. No need to move your car until checkout. Step outside and you are on the slopes.

Guests consistently praise this location as one of the best at Snowshoe Mountain — ideal for multi-family groups and friend crews who want the freedom to ski, warm up, and head back out without a complicated commute.

Mountain Lodge is a well-established ski building that has authentic mountain character. It is not a brand-new luxury resort — but what it offers in location, convenience, and space is genuinely hard to beat on the mountain.

🌡️ CLIMATE NOTE: Mountain Lodge does not have central air conditioning. At 4,848 feet of elevation, summer temperatures are naturally cool and comfortable. A portable air conditioning unit is provided in the unit for the occasional warm day.

Split Rock Pools is a separate, fee-based facility ($15/person/day) operated by Snowshoe Mountain Resort — located just outside the Mountain Lodge parking lot, an easy walk from the building. It is NOT included in your reservation. Several guests have been surprised by this — we want to set clear expectations upfront.

⚠️ BUILDING RENOVATIONS: Mountain Lodge is actively undergoing renovations and improvements. Common area amenities previously shown in older photos (arcade, game room) may not be available. New amenities are being added as construction progresses. The unit itself remains fully operational and ready for your stay.

❄️ 4WD/AWD strongly recommended for winter travel to Snowshoe Mountain. Snow conditions are mountain-managed and may affect road access.
🏔️ Mountain Lodge has authentic mountain character and may show normal cosmetic wear consistent with a high-elevation ski property. It is comfortable, clean, and well-located — not a new luxury resort.
